Dhimmitude
April 23, 2010 · By Mark Peters
Piss Mohammed. Shyte Fatima. A teddy bear being born from the penis of Mohammed. These you will never see as long as Islam is exalted above freedom.
Anderson Cooper: In South Park… they show Buddha snorting cocaine. You don’t see death threats or warnings from Buddhists.
Ayaan Hirsi Ali: And you don’t see death threats from Jews when Moses is depicted in an unbecoming position. And you don’t see threats from Christians when Jesus Christ… is put in a satire position. [...]
The South Park episode of last weekend was not just funny and it wasn’t just witty, it addressed an essential piece in the times that we are living: There is one group of people, one religion [Islam, -ed.], that is claiming to be above criticism.
Indeed, and with death threats to boot for those who dare disagree.
Free people have a clear choice: Be free or bow the knee to Islam. There is no middle ground.
Comedy Central, like many artists before it, has bowed the knee. They have chosen dhimmitude over freedom and, in doing so, stand condemned.

Or, they’ve made a business decision in the name of their own self-interest and decided not to do something that would, in their opinion, cost them more than they would gain. They may or may not be correct, but at the end of the day, they’re a business, and have to be responsible to their shareholders.
Abattoir — Comedy Central seems oblivious to the fact that subservience to Islam will cost them everything.
One need look no farther than Somalia (as our latest example) to understand that such a decision is markedly shortsighted.
Today, in the name of self-preservation due to Islamist threats, Comedy Central censors all images and script suggesting that Mohammed is being depicted. Tomorrow, the very same Islamists who today threaten the organization, will declare comedy itself, music and other forms of art to be unIslamic and illegal.
“Depictions of Mohammed” is just #1 on a very long list.
Islamic fanatics are more impressed with Mohammed’s conquests than his link to Allah. Islam (submission) was a well intentioned codification of Arab culture – as was Judaism to the Hebrews and version 2, Christianity to us – but the Prophet himself was corrupted by the power that fell into his hands. Perhaps the time was ripe for Arabs to build an empire and the rise of Islam provided not just a rallying point but divine imprimature. Anyway, the point is that the threats against us infidels have nothing to with Muslim submission and are all about conquest and domination. Dhimmitude, indeed.
