Giving Thanks

October 10, 2009 · By

Despite all the troubles going on in the world, and despite all the issues to which we object here at ThePolitic, there is still very much for which to be thankful.  Personally, there is nothing for which I am more thankful than my family.

I am also thankful that there are so many people who care about the troubles of our nation and our world, and participate in dealing with these issues on sites like ThePolitic.

I hope that all of our readers and contributors have much for which to be thankful.  I wish you all the best on this holiday weekend.

I am thankful too, for family, friends, and a great nation of freedom-loving people. PM Stephen Harper is a God-send for us at this point in our history, as a leader who performs well globally and domestically, including on the musical stage. Mikhail Igneutiev, on the other hand, has now become “Walking Eagle”, whose destiny appears to include some tar to go with his feathers on his way OUT of this country.

Like the old story says – “Thankful to whom my dear?”

Got something to say? (Read the rules first)
