Evangelizing Atheism

December 5, 2008 · By

While Canada is caught up in its own “consititutional crisis”, the Americans seem to be having some trouble with lawn signs.

A group of atheists placed an “anti-god” sign near the nativity scene on the grounds of the Washington State legislative grounds, and now Christian groups are in an uproar.

I am a Bible believing Christian. I believe in God. I think it’s ridiculous to evangelize atheism. However, I don’t think the sign should be taken down.

If we as Christians want our own religious views validated by the state in way of a nativity scene, then why can’t those with opposing views? That’s what we call freedom of religion.

Or, better yet, keep these things to our own yards.

Oh puh-leeze. Here we go with the Christian-haters again. The atheists can go celebrate their own holiday. Oh wait…..I forgot. They don’t have a holiday. They spend all year with sourpuss faces acting superior to Christians.

Merry Christmas everyone! God Bless Canada!
