I support the Coalition!

I support the coalition between the Liberals, the NDP, the Bloc and Elizabeth May because I think it will be a disaster and will lead to temporary gridlock. As such, this coalition is probably the only hope of preventing or at least delaying phoney economic “stimulus” packages and the waste of tax-payers’ money.
The automotive sector in North America is now begging from the tax-payer and approaching collapse. My opinion is that the coalition will likely expedite such a collapse more than anything else because of the political disarray and the unreliability of future bailouts.

lol, was thinking the same myself.
The coalition in government would mean the stimulus package would be at least 3 months longer in presenting,
add another month onto that getting Duceppe to agree to anything,
and the Liberal Party of Canada would be so damaged, they would be in opposition for a generation.
Finally someone is picking up on this. Harper tried to pull the public funding just so they could snatch power from him, look bad for a period and then he can swoop in and take a majority.
I mean, if this wasn’t his strategy, then he’s an arrogant idiot for thinking he could bankrupt the other parties without a fight
Too me, its like the NDP government in Ontario leading to Mike Harris. Or, as the song goes, “you’ve got to go through hell before you get to heaven”…
Might work. Sometimes doctors will induce a coma to save the patient. I just hope, in this case, the patient is strong enough.
In the Spring, everything is going to be back to “normal” in Canada except for a few embarrassed Liberals and NDP who will have tarnished whatever reputation they may have been able to salvage for the history books.
I don’t want any one of those idjits with their hands on the reigns for so much as 30 seconds.
