Media Coverage of Coalition: A Joke

December 2, 2008 · By

Reason number 8671213:

The Edmonton Sun reports that backers of the coalition government have a facebook event, called “Stephen Harper’s last day as PM” are rising.  At the time of their story the group was at 8 000 members.

Since the time of the story’s publishing, probably last night, the group has added 500 members.

They call that building steam.

At the same time, another facebook group, “Canadians Against a Liberal/NDP Coalition Gov’t“, was at 16 000 members an hour ago.

Since then it is now well over 17 500.

What is that called, pray tell?

UPDATE: As of 6pm PST, Canadians Against a Coalition Group was up to 28 730.  The Party to see Harper out of the PMO was at… 10 000.  Hmm.  I think I know which movement has momentum.

I did not turn on a television set today in order to avoid the sure-to-be-slanted news coverage Shane.

    The media is a joke.
