Media Bias: Quit Blaming the Candidate, its the Media’s Fault!

The mainstream media in general is biased towards Obama and the Democrats – if you don’t believe that, your head is firmly in the sand. Almost every media outlet I’ve encountered is indirectly (and in some cases, directly) fawning over Obama (and to a lesser extent, Biden) while at the same time gunning for John McCain and his running mate, Sarah Palin.
Columnist Michael Malone agrees, and tries her best to explain why:
If the current polls are correct, we are about to elect as president of the United States a man who is essentially a cipher, who has left almost no paper trail, seems to have few friends (that at least will talk) and has entire years missing out of his biography.
That isn’t Sen. Obama’s fault: His job is to put his best face forward. No, it is the traditional media’s fault, for it alone (unlike the alternative media) has had the resources to cover this story properly, and has systematically refused to do so.
Why, for example to quote the lawyer for Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., haven’t we seen an interview with Sen. Obama’s grad school drug dealer — when we know all about Mrs. McCain’s addiction? Are Bill Ayers and Tony Rezko that hard to interview? All those phony voter registrations that hard to scrutinize? And why are Sen. Biden’s endless gaffes almost always covered up, or rationalized, by the traditional media?
Lamestream media is gonna lose if the Obamanauts get elected, they already get cutoff if they ask tough questions, once the Obamanauts have power they’ll use the ‘fairness doctrine’ on the media and cut any ‘non-players’ off completely. We need bloggers and freedom, but they’ll be threatened too.
The brainwashing by the brain-dead media is nearly complete. Ovomit is ahead in the polls. Their job will soon be done. Done, as in done. The arrogance of “O” will sqash that same media like a bug once in power. Next on his list will be the online forums.
Whoever wins, the Israeli moles get in(they’re already in congress, AIPAC– cf Walt and Mearsheimer The Israel Lobby and US Foreign Policy), and more wars against the Arab world are sure to come, and maybe more Mossad terrorism like 9/11 to help sell it to the American people. We will be fighting Israel’s enemies until the west is destroyed, or we kick these dual loyalty scum out.

MSM likes a winner. McCain and Palin ain’t it this time around. They sure seemed to like Bush/Cheney in 2000. Also, even the Republicans don’t like themselves right now. Fundraising for the McCain campaign has been pathetic – quite a change from the Bush fundraising machine that broke all records.
Also, the media has ignored some significant issues on the Republican side (e.g. Todd Palin’s Alaskan independence party background).

The evidence is clear: Ovomit is best friends with terrorists and is as crooked as the day is long. He should be locked up, not running for POTUS.
Locked up for what? Obama was 8 years old when the Weathermen were active.

You betcha. He likes to say that he was 8 years old. He had no qualms about being best friends and launching his political aspirations in the very home of William Ayers and his terrorist wife. Those two were responsible for bombing a New York City police headquarters and the Pentagon among other sites.
That doesn’t bother you? Well then, how about Ovomit’s very own words, on the record with the San Fran Chronicle stating that he promises to bankrupt the entire coal industry?
How about his best friend Tony Rezko, the convicted felon?
How about the fact that he cannot prove his citizenship?
How about the fact that he sat in his “church” and listened to racist sermons by the “Reverend” Jeremiah Wright for twenty years. How about the fact that Obama stood by Wright when confronted with tapes of those racist sermons until it started looking so bad for Obama that suddenly he dumped his “Reverend” of 20 years?
Let me know when you have something “meaningful” to say about Obama. What has he accomplished? What is his foreign policy?
To bomb Pakistan, according to his OWN words.

Look, a lot of the stuff you have just posted is not that meaningful is it? Tony Rezko doesn’t appear to be his “best friend”, the citizenship thing is nonsense, and the Reverend Wright stuff is noise. It’s not like McCain does not have blemishes and outstanding questions related to his past.
However, his accomplishments (or lack thereof) and his yet to be clarified approach to foreign policy, those are substantive issues. I will be watching his approach to foreign policy very closely. His methods of addressing the terrorists hiding out in Pakistan will be particularly interesting. Also, it will be interesting to see how he will pull troops out of Iraq in a way that does not lead to chaos.
Nonsense is it? Then why can Ovomit not prove his citizenship? How is it that a POTUS cannot pass an FBI security clearance because of his past actions and associations?

I didn’t say that his accomplishments have yet to be clarified, I said his approach to foreign policy has yet to be clarified. This is something I am genuinely concerned about because if he wants to take military action in Pakistan I want to know more about it. Will it be done in partnership with Pakistan (it better be!), etc.
