Two more renounce Order of Canada and reject Morgentaler

Why did it take the Cardinal Jean-Claude Turcotte and the former Lieutenant-Governor of New Brunswick, Gilbert Finn so long? They returned their order of Canada medals this past week. My congratulations still go out to them and I am sure others would be pleased to hear it but I am curious to understand the wait.
