He ruined it with his “one designer child” remark. Insulting to all parents with have an only child for one reason or another.
I don’t think so. If he said “one child”, that would be offensive. As it was he specifically targeted those who decide for their own reasons to only have one child, and to “manufacture” that child to be exactly the way “they” envision him or her.
That kind of engineering in the name of selfishness demands to be insulted.
Doesn’t matter. The implication is there.
