Stephane Dion’s days are numbered

I think we can forget about both his membership and his campaign because his own Liberal sharks are circling around him. Their leader has nowhere to go but to swim down The Nile:

M. Dion a refusé de voir dans ces fuites le signe d’un malaise face à son leadership. “Non. C’est un manque de discipline”, a-t-il corrigé.

When a political leader has to tell his own party that he is the leader, that is bad. It is even worse when he has to ask publicly for respect and discipline from his own gang.
I almost feel sorry for him — not!

The other Liberals still have debt from their previous leadership campaigns. I think the Tories are going to capitalize on this sorry weakness in the Liberal party. We will probably have an election soon.

  1. An election is the only way to rid themselves of Dion.
But neither Iggy nor Rae will be able to unite the LPC.
Another run-off between these two would get VERY ugly.
Iggy’s mouth pieces vs. Rae’s money.
The more msm supports Rae, the louder Iggy’s warriors will become.

  2. Ah, the visual of that battle brings a huge smile to my face. As the Liberal fabric literally rips to shreds. In the meantime, Stephen Harper will continue to skillfully govern and will continue to impress.

  3. I’ve I was a Liberal, I’d have picked Gerard Kennedy in a heartbeat. He had charisma, electability, and his opinions weren’t crazy.
