Talk of the bad Liberal brand reminds me of a line in Chretien's recent book. It was something like (paraphrased): "Albertans seem to have forgotten that Peter Lougheed clinked champagne glasses with me over the NEP."

They could change their name to the Happy Fun Time Party and it wouldn't make a lick of difference. It's their core values Albertans find repugnant. A Liberal's a Liberal no matter how you dress them.

And as for their federal cousin (the family retard), the NEP isn't just a source of resentment and loathing it's proof positive of what the Libs are capable of doing to us. And the fact that Albertans are so anti-liberal means that should they get their claws on the PMO they won't care if they piss us off since there's no votes to be won here for them anyway.

I suggested:

"NOT the LIEberal Party of Canada"

They would have done much better if they were not called the Alberta Liberal Party,

Do not they know that Liberal, is considered a swear word in Alberta. Even though they might hav had a few good perposals, they were defaeted by their party name - sad
