First, I agree that this appears bad. As such, it will likely lead to the crumbling of this Archbishop’s leadership and a continued erosion of the Church of England. Wow.
More importantly, I genuinely believe the Archbishop is correct. All he is saying is that out-of-court (that is state court) settlements can be arbitrated by an Imam if all parties agree to Sharia arbitration. That is all he is saying.
So you have no problems with a muzzie woman in the hands of an Imam…with both parties agreeing of course…and of course both parties would be agreeable…
