You should make Bart Maves the party leader! That'd be fun. Then you'd have another leader that couldn't carry his own seat.

Oh. BTW I used to campaign for Mr. Maves.

It took some serious thinking but I eventually voted for Bart Maves in the last provincial election but I held my nose while doing so. Not because of Bart Maves because he's always done a good job for his riding but because of John Tory and his seemingly unilateral decision to support faith-based school funding.
I'm usually all for giving someone a second chance but the problem here is that if a politician of his calibre and position can make such a decision without consulting anyone outside of his team and if they can misread public opinion to such an extent then what's next?
John Tory should have realized that to be a good leader of people you must first find out where they want to go.

Tory for PM in '11!!! Please bring this guy back for the next election, it was SO FUN this time!!!

Gee, maybe that religious schools thing will pass next time. You guys should really try for it again. And then totally reverse course halfway through again.

The product of (average Conservative intelligence)*(value of Conservative policies) is always deliciously low.

Thank you for exposing this nonsense for what it is. I don't know why we accept anonymous drive my smearings like this. The Tory people have proven that in spite of his rhetoric, he is not really prepared to be accountable.

Rueben is a good and principalled man who doesn't deserve a low grade hack commenting on issues of which he has no context. This will be a turning point because it's made people like myself get off the bench and into the game.

Mr. Tory, up until this moment I was prepared to give you the benefit of the doubt. No longer. It's time to return you to the private sector.
