Excellent! Yup, it’s amazing how her first comment, I hope they learned their lesson, is being ignored by the media.

But, the media is not biased, if that comment had been made by a Conservatives MP, it would be top news for weeks. She might as well have said, they got what they deserved. Liberal entitlement. Speaking of which, who is paying for this trip???

I am going to complain to CTV News (I urge others to do so!) because last night’s late-night newscast covered this story, but did not mention the earlier comments she made. Nor did it show the Indian video with the journalist commenting on her callousness.

Taliban killers being handed over to the Afghan government for detention – Liberals get all upset for the poor darlings.

Capturing children and handing them over to Indian police for beatings – Liberals are happy with that.

I think Ruby Dhalla’s comments are being taken way out of context. She wasn’t aware of the allegations that the kids were beaten when she said that she “hopes they learned a lesson”. She actually asked the people at the conference to forgive the children for what they did and further asked the authorities to show leniency and guarantee the safety of the children. I think she’s being unfairly smeared.

Got something to say? (Read the rules first)
