		<description>OR you could look at it the other way... that conservatives are out of ways to stop divorce (like you said, it is happening anyway), and are attempting to use the issue of the environment to appeal to the senses of those godless liberals who just cannot seem to keep their marriages together.  (Sorta like those who claim that intelligent design is science and want it taught as an alternative in school science classes.)  And, if you remove the label of environmentalist, conservative, or liberal, the arguments presented above make the authors silly, irrespective of which side of the political fence you sit on.</description>

		<description>This is one of those things that climate change advocates should just keep to themselves.  It is true, when you think about it.  There's no question that having more households for a given population will result in more energy consumption, etc.  But, it's a stupid point to make because there is nothing we can do about it.  You're not going to guilt people into not getting divorced out of concern for the environment.  The people who publish these stories may think they're being helpful, when in fact they just make environmentalists look like a bunch of idiots.</description>
