    Dalton lost in 1999 but stuck it out like the smarmy git he is. Now he’s a two-time winner. Before you crucify Tory, consider the fact that he wasn’t attacked by anybody during this campaign for his leadership. It’s because that was his strongest and most obvious asset. Don’t fire the coach because the players dropped the ball.

    Did the players come up with that asinine faith-based funding plan? Did the players muse about teaching creationism in publicly funded schools? Did the players decide on a disingenuous platform of lower taxes *and* higher spending?

    Or was that the coach?
