Are the Liberals Using Cheque Swap Fundraising Schemes Too?
September 13, 2007 · By Greg Farries
Steven Janke has done an excellent job out detailing a similar “in and out” (or sometimes called, a cheque swap) scheme to move campaign funds around:
I’ve taken screen captures from the Elections Canada records to illustrate the movement of money. I’m using Stephane Dion as an example, looking at his returns he filed after running in the riding of Saint-Laurent-Cartierville. in the 2004 election.

The problem is - no one is really paying attention. It’s not
about transfers, it about using the money for advertising (and
trying to hide) way over the allowed limit (approx $1 million) and
wanting taxpayers to cover it.
Why don’t people pay attention? Janke is deliberatly trying to
make everyone else at fault here - that’s his purpose in life - but
you should really pay attention to the facts.
