I've been on the Bernier for leader bandwagon for some time now, & i'm glad to see some many others jumping on now. I read a piece on him in MacLeans shortly after he was sworn into cabinet & instaantly became a fan.

One measure of a successful, sustainable party is that while the person who leads it is still on top form the field of potential successors is also demonstrating their competence.

Stephen Harper has surrounded himself with excellence with Minister Bernier. It is good to know that here we have a potential future leader being seasoned.

Definitely a rising star.

Stephen Harper won't be around forever. Succession planning is a must.
