Radio Controlled WMD - Toy Planes or Flying Bombs
May 8, 2007 · By Greg Farries
Believe it or not, it is now possible to fly a radio controlled toy air plane massive distances with reasonably sized payloads. Recently a father and son team built a small unmanned airplane in Vermont, U.S., and flew it nonstop from New Hampshire to the U.K. complete with a five-kg load. Apparently their accuracy wasn’t too bad either, landing the transatlantic toy roughly 10 meters from the target place. According to spacewar.com, there are a few at NATO that are very concerned…
Roberts, who oversees issues of weapons of mass destruction policy at NATO, tried to imagine what could happen if thousands of such drones, even with an ordinary and not WMD charge, were dispatched to a target.
He also said NATO conducted an experiment several years ago, which showed that it was possible to buy a set for a biological laboratory through the Internet for about $300,000, which was quite capable of producing WMDs. The deputy assistant secretary general said this area is totally uncontrolled.

Shall we now have a war on radio controlled planes? Will it include *all radio controlled toys? Will they include elementary school lab kits? Could GI Joe be turned? Can Barbie & Ken really be trusted?
– and possibly more importantly, what will they come up with next to instill the appropriate level of fear into an already paranoid herd of sheeple?
It’s been possible to deliver a 5kg payload from New Hampshire to the UK for decades. It’s called the postal service.
