A Strong and United Country?

Now, I may only be an ignorant Ontarian, but I have a feeling a lot of people in our prarie provinces, BC and the maritimes might not be thrilled with this image of Canada…
It doesn’t matter. Westerners are quite used to Quebec (and Ontario) being considered more important than everyone else.
This isn’t just Liberals who believe this either (athough they are shameless about it). The so-called “conservative” fat ass hack John Crosbie once said “Ontario and Quebec ARE CANADA. All the other regions, whether they like it or not, are merely appendages”. People can debate on *WHY* he said it but none the less he was a federal politician who lusted for the PMs job and HE DID SAY IT and mean it.
This says a lot about “Ottawa-think”. Whether it comes from Liberals or conservative/liberal-lites.
I dunno about Ottawa think. I’m from Ottawa, and I think this is one of the dumbest pieces of imaging I’ve ever seen.
Their pandering options were limited, they don’t have our money to buy votes this time like the CPoC did (and, I hasten to add, they did in the past) so what else could they do?
That is not defending this particular imagery btw, it’s just stating the obvious.
This image is proof positive of the convoluted, disordered thinking/reasoning of Liberal political strategists/tacticians.
All Canadians, Quebeckers, in particular, will see right through it as an afterthought, and a poor one at that.
If the Liberals had, instead of all their cheating , wasting, corrpution, criminality, greed, appeasement of evil, gross, cavalier incompetence, unmitigated, pathological dishonesty, infighting, complete & utter lack of any vision whatsoever for Canada, particularly in the long run, racism, sexism, regional discrimination, radical, devil-may-care, extreme social reengineering based on nothing but lies, propaganda and cheating, actually been giving Canadians what they wanted, then they might’ve not been destroyed as “Natural Governing Party” and would still be in power.
But they made their choices. And now they suffer the consequences: fewer and fewer Canadians will consider voting for them, let alone joining them… and far fewer still will be stupid enough to give them any money (willingly/knowingly).
The Liberal Party of Canada is brain-dead. There’s nothing left but a living corpse.
