The Liberal-Separatist Alliance: Did Dion vote for Boisclair?
March 27, 2007 · By Aaron Unruh
That’s the judgement I made when I heard Dion flailing about looking desparate to find anything to attack the PM last nite. I mean, gawd, the pro-Canada forces took 89 of 125 seats last nite & the guy’s pissed about it, but i’m not surprised. Along with the separatists, the biggest loser from last nite were the federal Liberals.

Here is an item I posted on this at SDA:
Did you catch Stephane Dion AND Iggy giving Stephen Harper a tongue lashing today in QP for so called “interfering” in the Quebec election:
How soon we forget: Dion himself actually was the first and he advised people to vote Green or ADQ due to his hatred of the close relationship Harper has with Charest:
Another Pot/Kettle story that the media is ignoring.
Here is just one item on this I found.:
Stéphane Dion throws rock in the water

It was only a matter of time before the federal politicians get involved in the provincial election, but I didn’t expect it would come so soon in the campaign, nor did I expect that Stéphane Dion would be the first, and I certainly didn’t expect to hear what he said.
It’s no surprise to anyone that Stéphane Dion really hates the Parti Québécois. Thus he invited all the Quebec federalist disapointed in the Jean Charest Liberal government to vote for the Green Party or the ADQ. Wow.
-snip-
Should we understand from this intervention that Stéphane Dion doesn’t appreciate that Harper and Charest are good friends, and that he tries by the manoeuver to lessen the Conservative’s power by hitting the provincial Liberals?
He claims it is not the case, and that he’ll make all he can to help elect Liberals in Québec. Weird way to make friends.

If you’re of the opinion that the ADQ is a “pro-Canada party,” you ought to read up on them. They’re nothing of the sort. I wish they were, but they just aren’t. I don’t know why so many people who are federalists are deluding themselves into believing that; maybe we are just seeing what we want to see.
Also, Dion wasn’t “pissed about it”. The person you’re quoting isn’t being honest. The author of the Clarity Act wants the PQ to win? The guy who took more flak from seperatists in his province than anyone? What a disgusting attack.
Ah, ok - now I get it. I assume this will be your way of attaching an “anti-Canadian” label to Mario and his band of alleged closet separatists?
Rob, isn’t that type of attack getting old?

Are you serious? Read up on the ADQ’s views on the subject.
