Martha Hall-Findlay: Put in her place

March 22, 2007 · By Aaron Unruh

The old warhorse John Reynolds has just put Martha Hall-Findlay in her place on Mike Duffy Live. Like other whiny Liberal girls (including Stephane Dion), Hall-Findlay was complaining about what a mean guy Harper is. Reynolds’ response:

This is politics. Grow up.

Amen.

Did she stamp her feet and cry in Duffy’s arms?

No. She was tough. As tough as she was when she was handed the liberal nomination in Willowdale.

I killed myself laughing, he was great. I hope the Liberals keep on whining,
    they are looking like pansies.

She was as tough as she was when she gave up her Liberal candidacy in Newmarket-Aurora to B.S. when she jumped ship to the Liberals.

    Freudian slip??
    Mike Duffy not John Duffy
John is the Grit whore who was lobbying for a heavy polluter while prostelitizing against the CPC envoro plan.
Mike is the chubbo from PEI who has sold his soul for bonbons.

Tough as Duffy at a smorgasboard and all you can eat buffet? Nah nobody is that tough.

Right on Reynolds , now the rest need to get onboard , tell it like it is , with no apologies , and then tell them all to grow up , and then just keep doing it. Especially Dion.

Harper is a classless PM and a disgrace. Accusing your opponent of being a child porn lover (Martin), terrorist (Bain) income trust (Goddale) etc is not tough politics. It is Harper embarrassing himself and costing our political system its credibility.

Why is Harper so afraid of a substantive debate? Why must politics be reduced to this sleaze.

The Liberals are just as guilty as the Conservatives, and mercilessly bashed them during the 13 years when they were in power, so I am not sure why they are whining and playing the victim now that they are in opposition. It is just pathetic the way they ask for an apology every week.

AA, with all due respect; the Liberals wrote the book on political sleeze. It’s simply part of our political culture now, at least Harper had ligitimate reason to ask these questions.

    AA?

Perhaps you should go to a meeting. :-)

Hey, aa, all the things you mention that the CPC has said about the Liberals in question are true. What’s your problem? The CPC didn’t make up these issues:

The Liberals have been totally soft on kiddie porn–and had 13 years to clean up the Internet, or at least attempt to bring in legislation to halt Internet Kiddie Porn, but didn’t.

Bain’s father-in-law was questioned by the RCMP, and then just as the HOC was getting closer to what actually happened in the Air India disaster, 22 YEARS LATER (after massive inaction on the part of the Liberals), the Liberals voted to not extend the legislation that would help get to the bottom of this massive slaugter.

Ralph Goodale was up to his yin-yang in the shenanigans surrounding income trusts and illegitmate leaks to friends and colleagues.

C’mon, aa. Get your head out of the ostrich hole it’s stuck in. And, as John Reynolds would put it, GROW UP.

Politics is tough, but it’s even tougher if you’re stupid.

“Why is Harper so afraid of a substantive debate?”

With their apology demand o’ the week, it’s the Liberals who aren’t talking about things Canadians care about. Keep up the phony indignation girls, it reminds Canadians that you are concerned primarily with yourselves.
