Coulter is possibly the most desperate attention junkie known to humanity. Her remark about Edwards was rude and unseemly, as was her use of the term “raghead” at the same meeting in 2006.

I don’t consider myself right or left wing, but I can tell you no matter how conservative I am or could be, I would not associate with someone like her. She is gross and tacky and argues using sensationalism rather than logic and ideas.

Where is the landslide of people to argue that Edwards is not gay? or that McClelland is wrong?

I can be offended anytime at bad words especially if I use them myself as easily as exhaling… but there is a difference between truth and fantasy.

Ugh, give me a break. Ann Coulter is just a better looking Robert McClelland – they each offer up insult rather than reasoned argument, they both drag public discourse of policy into sideshows of politics-as-(bad)-theatre, and both are clueless. This style of attack is wrong, no matter which side it comes from.

The criticism you quote is trite and empty, agreed – it’s really, really irritating.

But Ann Coulter, like any pundit cut from her caustic and poisonous cloth, is not “treasure” to anyone.
