Garh was a Contender for the PC Leadership?
Doesn’t “contender” intimate that a person has a chance to win.
I’m over 200 pounds and at one time boxed – did this make me a contender for World Heavyweight Champ.
The only thing he’s a contender for is egotistical buffoon of the year…

Heres more evidence that Garth wont be singing from the same hymn book in the lib caucus. He admits Stephane didnt get the job done…while DION was environment minister.

I could write a lot on this topic but I don’t have time. It just bothers me that some people enjoy trying to bring an honest, intelligent, very hard-working, conscientious and knowledgeable person down without really knowing anything about him. Mr. Dion was only in the portfolio for eighteen months. During this time he learned his new job very quickly, was busy arranging the international conference on climate change in Montreal, compiled and wrote “Project Green–Moving Forward on Climate Change–A Plan for Honouring our Kyoto Commitment” and has subsequently written an update of one portion of this plan, “Balancing our
Carbon Budget”. You might try reading these plans. They were written before the Conservatives were even acknowledging climate change was real. In fact, Mr. Harper referred to the “so-called greenhouse gases” as late as December, 2006. Didn’t you wonder why Harper’s so-called Clean Air Act didn’t fly and had to go to legislative committee to be re-written by the opposition parties with some bit of input by the Conservatives. It still hasn’t gone to parliament for a vote and this will probably be Harper’s excuse to go to the polls because he still doesn’t understand what is required. Don’t be easily misled by the vote-buying budget (which actually runs counter to neo-conservative views). Think about the kind of country you want to live in and what is good for future generations. Mr. Harper wants a majority government and if he gets it you will see what he is really trying to do to this country.

Got something to say? (Read the rules first)
