Still in the Gutter

December 31, 2006 · By kaqchikel

Jeffrey Simpson apologises (subscribers only) for a whole lot of things, except for having directly and indirectly called Ralph Klein and Albertans bozos. Prolific apologies are offered to Ignatieff, however, but none to Albertans.

Simpson doesn’t quite succeed in getting himself out of the gutter-press category that he condemns.

Why would he have to apologize for THAT? With Klein its common knowledge.

Bigcitylib: with liberals we know they are all thieves so why do they pretend to be honest citizens?

Now back to J.Simpson: Homer makes ya look stupid dickhead.

Therein lies the rub - the Toronto Liberal believes as SImpson believes that the hinterland is peopled with a lesser class than the GTA. WHat colossal arrogance. But it is Liberal arrogance. Big Government, the Nanny state… you can see where their thinking fits the mould that Canadians somehow must be managed, like a herd of fine cattle…that they can be made better, faster, cleaner, if only Liberals can hold power and shape them the masses as they learned could be theoretically done in Sociology class. You know folks under Liberals you have lost dozens of freedoms you used to take for granted… did you know the criminal code used to allow you to be arrested for “failing to give a good account of yourself ” (in other words produce your papers for the man in the uniform). Well, that is back now…under a different guise. Your constitution, in writing down what your rights are, ensured that things you used to enjoy aren’t your rights anymore because rhty’re not written down. THis was the product of Trudeau, the French republican thinkers and Liberals who went along. a knife in the guts for British Parliamentary Democracy which in Canada bears little resemblance to the original template.

Got something to say?
