Waiting on an Election

Amongst news of Taliban atrocities and Canadian troops being welcomed into formerly Taliban strongholds, Stephane Dion has announced that he will not vote against the mission because doing so may trigger an election that the Liberal Party is not yet ready for.

It’s good to see that he’s keeping his priorities straight. I wonder how many heads on sticks Dion will tolerate once his party is ready for an election. My vote is for “countless”.

  1. The selfishness of these radical leftists in the Liberal/Bloc/NDP parties is just astounding.

For themselves they want taxpayers to provide every possible service, they believe they have a divine right to people’s paycheques.

    But Afghan people?

Leftist liberals will simply abandon them to torture and murder if they can grab a few votes from that position, even though this would allow Afghanistan to become a base for international terrorist operations again. Selfish ignorant leftists.

  2. […] Speaking of heads on sticks: Listen and learn, feminists of Canada. Step out of line and you will deal with the wrath of The Rebick. […]

  3. Dion’s comment is disgusting. But it shows the workings of the Liberal mind. It matters not what is right or wrong: all that matters is how can it help the Liberals grab power.

  4. the Libs internal polls must be telling them that a majority are on-side with the Afghan mission.
Liberals NEVER act out of principle.

  5. Not the workings of the Liberal mind hector, it shows the workings of the party mind. It’s a mindset that knows no political allegiance or boundaries.

Canadian politics is always about the party, regardless of the colour of the banner people stand under.

  6. “Not the workings of the Liberal mind hector, it shows the workings of the party mind. It’s a mindset that knows no political allegiance or boundaries.”

Not all parties are brokerage and put their own success above all other considerations.

  7. This just underscores the inherent spinelessness of the Liberal party.
What a bunch of selfish cowards.
