I think conservative bloggers and conservatives in general need to do what media types have been doing for years.

If a media type wants an unflattering photo of a celebrity they will shout something outrageous and snap a picture when the celebrity goes nuts.
What I wouldn’t give to have been there when poor little Rick “The Dinger” Bell had his little foaming at the mouth meltdown.

BTW: Rick “The Dinger” Bell: I know he hasn’t used this name in a few years but really, what sort of needy, self absorbed, attention seeking, LOSER gives HIMSELF a nickname?

Bell has always reminded me of the journalist version of Charles Adler. They are a pair of heroes in their own minds and blow lots of hot air trying to convince us of it.

I think the real interesting point here is what was Bell talking about BEFORE he realized he was being listened to.
He obviously believed he got caught with his hand firmly stuck in a very big cookie jar and reacted with exactly the sort of full scale panic one would expect from such an embarrassment.
That “Can’t you take a joke?” excuse is the escape of a pure coward.
I’ll insult you and if you take exception I’ll pretend it was a joke so you will seem humourless if you retaliate.
Bell likes to talk tough with his refences to bar room brawls & fighting ect in his columns but in truth he’s just another soft, overly sensitive, feminine, little metrosexual weasel.
