Renaissance Men Use Amazon

I am reading, with some amusement, the continuing saga of Chapters Bookstore’s non-denial denial regarding Mark Steyn’s new book America Alone. You can read the latest episode on his website.

Of course, when I have a late night hankering for some Epictetus, I surf on over to to Amazon.ca and stock up. Besides, I thought Chapters stopped selling books years ago. Judging by the smell coming from the place when I walked by, I assumed they were the result of an unfortunate merger of Starbuck’s and The Body Shop.
