Thanks to Scott Tribe, you can now chat with others at ThePolitic.com by clicking here. Hopefully some of the writers from here can get on to the chat application in order to give words of wisdom to eager young pilgrims passing through the site.
Interesting, but what’s wrong with IRC?
It’s also interesting to note that if I put the URL of my site into the appropriate comments field the comment goes immediately into the SPAM trap – and if I don’t, the comment appears.
Nothing, I doubt. Aaron is probably impressed with the simplicity of this system. I used to be a big big fan of IRC and I still go on once in awhile.
However, clicking a link and chatting in the simple popup is alot easier than opening up a seperate IRC client (my fav is mIRC) and trying to connect to a chat server, etc.
As we’ve discussed in the past, I have no idea why this is occuring. This is a recent install and I’ve double checked all the moderation features and I’m still at a loss as to why you’re dumped into the moderation queue.
Perhaps if you register it might help?
