Six Nations desecrate the Maple Leaf

May 25, 2006 · By Peter Rempel

Oh my:

Won’t this cause a bit of a problem for the Canadian left-nationalists that are lining up to support the “peaceful” and “respectful” native protesters.

Update: More respectful sentiment:

“i hope they know they can wipe their asses with that ripped up flag and finally put the fucking thing to good use”

I am not so sure it will have the affect on the left that you think. Most lefties don’t get their knickers in a knot when someone burns or tears a flag. They usually ask themselves, “Wow, there must be something really wrong. It is time to think of solutions.”

The lefties problem is usually keeping the stampeeding hordes of righties from barging in and making the problem worse with equally rediculous actions, like setting up their own baracades and getting into fist fights.

I note that the recent cross border bust of the gun runners supplying the gang bangers in TO with their glocks identified the six nations reserve as the conduit of illicit firearms in Canada….but the “progressive” left still support a 2 billion dollar farce that criminalizes duck hunters and farmers….is it really a dual standard with the left or is it a genetic predisposition for dystopian ideals.

What does the antithesis of utopia have to do with the issue at hand? Are you saying that native land claims should not be settled because gang bangers have identified the six-nations as a likely coduit for firearms and that some how this justifies the discontinuation of the gun registry?

Got something to say?
