The BC Prosperity Cheque

I’m slowly coming around to this view:
[This] prompted me to ask Premier Gordon Campbell, when I saw him recently, when I’d be receiving my B.C. “prosperity cheque?”
He told me that I’d already received it: I get to live in B.C.
Wow. You’d think he’d been in power as long as Chretien or King Ralph with that kind of arrogance. Living in B.C. is great but to suggest that you should thank the government for that privilege is something I would expect to hear from Castro not Campbell. Did you tell him you would be filling out his prosperity check in the form of your taxes in a few weeks AND that he gets to live in B.C..
Of course one of the advantages of living in B.C. is that Alberta is right next door just in case you want to buy something.
