Enough already

February 14, 2006 · By Peter Rempel

From 24 Hours:

Enough already. The Emerson issue is totally boring… As for the hundred protestors with nothing better to do this past sunny weekend I tip my hat to your concern for democracy but pity you for your lack of a life.

I’d like to extend the same sentiment to some conservative bloggers who have become obsessed with the issue.

Isn’t 24 Hours owned by the extremely right-leaning Sun Media? Talk about bias media coverage. Of course they’ll make it sound like this is “nothing” - this strategy has worked well for Right-wing bias media in the US. Afterall, why should we hold our politicians to their word - what a stupid notion eh! Who cares about blatant hypocrisy - anyone concerned with that should “get a life”.

It was a letter to the editor. Calm down, poindexter.

Turns out the right-leaning neo-conservative Sun Media does indeed own 24 Hours. What’s this about a “Liberal” media???

    “right-leaning neo-conservative!!!!”

Oh no, God help us all!

Hmmm, in all seriousness—very serious now—Jason C and Wiley, you boys are real ignorant SOBs.

“Afterall, why should we hold our politicians to their word - what a stupid notion eh!”

If you knew anything about parliamentary tradition, or paid attention to what the Conservatives have said all along on floor crossing or what Harper said to explain Fortier, you would appreciate that Harper’s cabinet was never really controversial. Well except for, as the author of the above letter observes, stupid partisan losers with no life.

georgie. Lay off the kool-aid there grandpa. Don’t call us SOBs just because you don’t agree with us. That is pathetic on your part. What a low-life thing to do. Just because your excessively ignorant doesn’t mean you can attack the messangers.

Isn’t 24 hours owned by Jimmy Pattison and published by Glen Clark?

Got something to say?
