Kim Campbell is Talking, But is Anyone Listening?

Kim Campbell - you’re kidding? What rock did they have to lift to find this gem? Maybe the press should stop by Joe Who’s house and get his opinion on Harper and the Conservative party too.

“Their (the Conservative party’s) positions are too socially conservative, I think, to form a government in Canada. People may like their fiscal policies but they’re frightened by their social conservatism…It’s a pity because it denies people a choice on policy issues.”

Which policies are too socially conservative for your liking Kimmy? Oh ya, you don’t bother to mention that, as you’re too busy smearing the Party to make an intelligent point.

As a Canadian, she said, she is accorded a lot of respect internationally.

“There are certain issues Canada is seen to be knowledgeable about â€??? constitutional issues, dealing with minorities, challenges to unity, our own policies to work with Indigenous people etc.”

That’s right - we’re extremely knowledgeable about trying and failing to amend our constitution, twice. We also have experience with holding and almost losing a couple of referendums on a provinces separation from Canada. And our policies dealing with Indigenous people are incredible, just don’t ask the natives who live in third world conditions.

She now divides her time between Madrid and Chicago, where her husband, Hershey Felder, is based.

Are we surprised she doesn’t even live in Canada anymore?
