Ryan,
And by the way, here is one very notable example: http://www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/2006/may/06051008.html

The fact that you ask for specific examples is something CBC tries to avoid. What they try to do is remove people's awareness that there is any other point of view to hear. This is something, I'm afraid Ryan, that only those with ears to hear will automatically notice.

Ryan,
Perhaps you're right and that some of our citizens need to be shown point by point where CBC's bias shows itself. But who is going to provide the funding for this project? The number of incidents, the comparison of coverage of one side or another, this stuff takes work and intelligence.

Obviously a lot of people are not intellectually capable of noticing it. Others have a vested interest in not noticing. But I think for the most part, it's the air we breath. People just don't notice just another pawn in a liberal-dominated media complex.

However, since a billion dollars in government funding is at stake, perhaps such a thing would be worth organizing to tighten the neck of the purse string.

I hear that the CBC is so horribly liberally biased all of the time, but where is evidence of this? Seriously, point me to at least 2 specific examples of the CBC having a left-wing bias and maybe I'll buy into this.

<!--%kramer-pre%-->I've been listening to CBC Radio coverage of the election campaigns all along, and the worldview of their reporters and announcers are, from the newsroom to their current affairs show "As it Happens," blatantlypro-socialist/anti-conservative. /anti-conservative. I don't object to their having a point of view. That's human nature. It's their pretense of objectivity, and the fact that they actually appear to believe they're being fair and balanced that irks me.<!--%kramer-post%-->
